SQL-DMO 8.0 not found: Toad for SQL
Server requires Microsoft SQL-DMO 8.0 or higher to be installed on this
client machine to function properly. This application will now exit.Background Info
MSS - Microsoft SQL Server
MDAC - Microsoft Data Access Components
DMO - Distributed Management Objects, or SMO - SQL Management Objects
I'm guessing you don't have the SQL Server client installed. If you can, install that. If you can't, download dmo.zip
and check out the readme and the archives on installing dmo. It is the
data access engine required for toad. The mss client installs it, as EM
(enterprise manager) uses DMO also.
There are loads of different reasons for "class not registered" errors, and yours is related to the above, I'm certain.
